Todd Oliver’s – The Smiling Eyes
On September 22nd, 2006 Todd Oliver- and his dog Irving- appeared on Late Show with David Letterman on CBS as the feature finale act of ”Ventriloquist Week”. Their performance was a hit! A month later the act appeared on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson- another hit! Soon Todd’s publisher called and the two discussed Todd’s various talents. (Besides being a ventriloquist Todd is also a musician and songwriter).
The timing was perfect. Todd had also met three other musicians/songwriters with similar tastes, talents, and goals. Todd, along with Brian Duvall, drums/vocals, Mike Donoho, guitar/vocals, and Marcus Willett, bass/vocals, have developed a musical magical chemistry. The results : a new debut album of original songs already receiving rave reviews a new show touring Performing Arts Theaters during the winter months, and beginning March 1st 2011 a 2 year contract in the show “Todd Oliver and Friends” at the Jim Stafford theater in Branson Missouri.
